Catherine's art has been inspired by photographs by Clayton Rollins, Doug Lapointe, and Joanne Gauci and memory. She uses paint, ice dyed or commercial fabrics for the backgrounds and builds the collage froward using bits of fabric, silk, etc. and glue. Then the completed work is machine stitched and embellished.
